SAM Tech is an accredited vocational school, training the next generation of engine builders, machinists, CNC operators, and EFI Tuners. For over 40 years, SAM Tech graduates have been powering F1, NASCAR, and NHRA race teams as professional engine builders. Outside of the performance racing industry, our graduates are getting hired at Boeing, Blue Origin, SpaceX and more, making their mark in aerospace, medical manufacturing, and oil and gas. Some are even starting their own machine and engine building shops. Precision skills travel and our graduates prove it every day.
We offer an Associate of Applied Science degree and focused programs in CNC Machining, Engine Block Machining, Cylinder Head Machining, and EFI Calibration. Our courses are 50% theory and 50% hands on in the lab. There is no distance learning here!
SAM Tech has been awarded School of Excellence from the ACCSC, was named to the inaugural list of Top 250 Vocational Schools in The US by USA Today, named the number two vocational school in the city of Houston by the Houston Business Journal, and has been designated a Military Friendly school for over a decade. Financial Aid is available for those who qualify, and SAM Tech is proudly approved to accept the GI Bill.
